Support Contract
What does 'Paid Support' cover?
Support services for all deepOfix features for one year (from the date of purchase)
Support over
phone

email
,
remote login
and
onsite
Updates, upgrades and bug fixes for complete server software (including the operating system, system software, deepOfix packages, EasyPush Server Manager and the likes)
Priority treatment for paid customers with immediate problem acknowledgement and speedy resolution
'Paid Support' does not cover:
Customisations and enhancements to deepO
fix
. While we do welcome and encourage feedback from users in the form of bug reports and feature requests, we cannot make a formal commitment to implement all requested features. Based on the feature requested we can decide - on a case-to-case basis - if there needs to be any extra charge for the enhancement or whether it can be handled within the terms of the existing support / service contract. More often than not, however, we do honour such requests from paid customers
Additional services to recover from hardware failure, hard disk crash or any other hardware related problem
Additional services which might be required to remedy situations beyond the control of the deepOfix server software - eg. Internet, Telecom or other service provider issues and so on
How you can ensure smooth and timely delivery of support and service:
To provide you the greatest peace of mind and smooth support & service delivery, we have the following requests:
Please ensure that the site where the deepO
fix
server is installed has a power conditioning and UPS backup
Please allow (when required) remote access to the deepO
fix
server
Please provide detailed & timely inputs & feedback so that we can work with you to resolve support requests quickly
Please use

to log any issue. Our CRM application creates a ticket for it and maintains complete history of all the interactions on the issue
The following situations inhibit our ability to provide support & service to you:
deepOfix software issues caused by updates applied from package repositories other than the official deepOfix package repository. Though you have complete freedom to install software from any source (including installation from source code), we cannot offer support and service coverage to software installed in such manner
Server intrusions or misuse caused by exploitation of weak passwords or improperly implemented guidelines with respect to server configuration and security
